West End Watch Co. Sowar Prima Military Broad Arrow – Man’s Wrist Watch – Circa Early 1990s.

Swiss made ETA 2846 automatic in high grade stainless steel case with matching bracelet. No box or papers.
For sale is a WEWCo. Sowar Prima automatic named after the famous mounted Sowar warriors who served in the Indian Army before Independence in 1947. It is in above average condition for a watch that is around 25 years old. It is keeping good time considering its age and ticking away strongly as I write this description. The movement is a recently serviced ETA 2846, known for its robustness and reliability. If you want to know more about it, Google” ranfft ETA 2846.
The Sowar has its original stainless steel strap that accommodates a wrist up to almost 20cm. The case is in good condition, measures 32.5mm from edge-to-edge and has an original ‘W’ signed crown. It has just had a new crystal fitted.
Finally I recommend most strongly that you examine the High Definition photos carefully as they constitute the major part of the watch’s description.
The Broad Arrow (↑) symbol on the case back does not mean that a watch is MoD issue but that it meets MoD specification!
