Watch movements are like engines in cars; they need to be maintained and serviced on a regular basis. It is essential to have your watch lubricated to prevent movement damage and time loss. Lubricating a movement is similar to getting an oil change in your car. When a watch is not serviced every 3-5 years, the oils begins to dry out. Lubricants will eventually turn into a fine dust and can wear out the pivots of watch wheels if not replaced regularly.

A complete watch repair service consists of disassembling the movement, cleaning out old lubricant and re-lubricating all necessary points. We reassemble the movement and adjust the timing to standard factory specifications. The exterior of the watch is then fully re-finished. To do this, we remove all scratches and restore the factory finish to the exterior case and bracelet. We also check the timing for accuracy over a period of 72 hours.
